Lily By Rose Remain is a remarkably written historical fiction. Highly emotional, full of hope and heartbreak. Set in the winter of 1850, Lily was found abandoned, by a police constable at the gates of the park and taken to London Foundling Hospital. The harshness and cruelty endured feel so real and one can't help but feel sorry for her.
Set in Victorian times, life was hard, being an orphaned child, life was even harder for Lily. Captivating on so many levels, the characters in this novel are so rich in history, well-described, and full of depth. The author has the skill of pulling the reader into the story, making it impossible to put the book down. I enjoyed this book very much and highly recommend it !! Thank you Netgalley, Random House UK, Vintage, and Rose Remain for the opportunity to review this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. Rating:

This truly dark, uncomfortable, and creepy read is not for the faint heart, full of twists and turns, this book will keep you on your toes throughout. Rating: What an enthralling read, right from the beginning the story captivated my attention and kept me hooked by the exciting plot.
The characters are well described and I felt immersed in the story, the writing style is simple and straightforward. The thought that Faris Iskander the main character in the story was being closely watched by the suspect was truly spooky. Looking forward to reading more books by this author. Highly recommended. Rating: Pleach Blossom Spring is a remarkably written novel of a young mother, Meilin, who loses her husband to the war and how she later against all odds, protects and provides for her son Renshu. Their hardships and struggles are so well depicted and described with such raw honesty that at times brought tears to my eyes.
This novel gives the reader lots to ponder on, simple joys in life that we many times take for granted, family ties and bonds that cant be broken so easily severed and the love of a mother for her child that at times words are not sufficient to describe. Highly recommended. I would like to thank NetGalley for this opportunity to read this book in exchange for a fair and honest review. Opposites most definitely attract and that is exactly what happens between Tiffany, head bartender, and Sam the new owner of the Chicago bar. This is a classic tale of people who can't stand to be in each other presence however eventually a change of events take place as they begin to enjoy each other's company and start spending more time together. Highly recommended for romantic lovers !! Can't wait to read the next book. I would like to Thank Dani McLean and BookSirens for the opportunity to read this book Rating: This is my first book in the series, however, each story is standalone. Reine is freshly released from prison and comes to visit her daughter, Eva at the home of Marcus and Charlotte O'Connell. Eva was adopted by O'Connell at Reine's request in order to keep her out of the foster care system and being adopted by strangers and perhaps being lost to Reine forever. The story grabs your attention from the onset, a story that gets you thinking and wields your emotions in such a way that deep-rooted emotions of frustration and rage are felt. It is truly unfair how people in positions can get away with things. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it!! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I would like to thank Lorhainne Eckhart and BookSirens for this opportunity to read this book. Rating: |
